I’ve been craving a dark rich chocolate for a while and had no luck finding a healthy version out there so I decided to make my own using only clean ingredients and it was so easy and satisfying!
1 cup Cocoa butter (Or coconut oil)
1 cup Cacao or cocoa powder (Unsweetened)
Maple syrup or Stevia (Optional)
Nuts of your choice (Optional)
Vanilla extract (Optional)
Himalayan Salt (Optional)
Melt cocoa butter or coconut oil over medium heat.
Once melted, remove from heat and add maple syrup and whisk to combine. When the mixture is completely fluid with no separation, add cacao or cocoa powder and vanilla extract. Whisk to thoroughly combine.
Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
Pour the chocolate in a baking sheet with parchment paper and pour the chocolate on top. Top with roasted almonds and sprinkle of salt.
Set in the refrigerator or freezer to harden for 30 minutes.
Once completely solid, break or cut into pieces/bars.
